The Grévin Museum; get up close to some famous faces

The Grévin Museum, located in the 9th arrondissement, is a wax museum dating back to the late 19th century. Here you can come face-to-face with the astonishing likenesses of more than 200 famous people. A fun and fascinating experience to enjoy with family or friends!

A constellation of stars

Few places can boast so many celebrities under one roof! The Grévin Museum allows you to get up close and personal with more than 200 personalities amidst gorgeously baroque settings.

Here awaits a wide selection of life-size wax statues representing historical figures or current celebrities. The various rooms on the two-hour tour are dedicated to specific themes. Some feature figures intimately connected with the history of France, while others present great chefs, pop stars, sportsmen, comic-book heroes and more.

A visit to the Grévin Museum offers the opportunity to have a tête-à-tête with Mozart, Louis XIV, Albert Einstein or Marilyn Monroe, get a selfie with Charlie Chaplin and Katy Perry or stare Mick Jagger or Donald Trump in the eye. New wax figures are regularly added, and the latest arrivals include Kendji Girac, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Maître Gims.

A new visitor experience

The fully modernised Grévin Museum plunges the visitor into an even more immersive experience. The tour of the museum, which traces its history back to 1882, begins in the entrance hall that has been transformed into an Art Deco Palace where Raving Rabbids dressed as bellboys welcome you. You are then taken to the famous Avenue des Champs-Elysées and head down it with General de Gaulle or find yourself on TV for an interview with the journalist Léa Salamé.

When visiting the museum, you’ll also get to see behind the scenes of this world-famous establishment. Find out how the ‘residents’ are chosen, the amount of wax used, the number of hairs needed for each head, the time spent designing a figure... A whole host of surprising revelations!
